작가 소개

지은이 : 서창원
전라북도 전주에서 태어나 초등학교 6학년 때에(1968년) 서울로 올라와 중·고등 및 대학을 서울에서 마쳤다. ‘하나님의 복음 나팔수가 되라’는 소명에 따라 총신대학에 입학한 지 16년 만에(영국 유학 포함)목사 안수를 받고 모교인 총신대학교 신학대학원에서 역사신학 강사로, 겸임교수로 활동하면서 ‘주님의 신부’인 교회를 목양(22년간 담임 목회)하며 말씀 선포자로 봉사하였다. 그 후 2014년부터 전임교수로 임용되어 후학들을 지도하다가 2022년 초에 정년 퇴임한 후 현재는 저자가 설립한 한국개혁주의 설교연구원 원장(30년간)을 거쳐서 이사장으로(2022년부터), 그리고 GMS소속 교수 명예 선교사로 섬기고 있다. 그는 주님의 보편적 공교회가 이 땅에 견고하게 뿌리내리도록 도서출판과 선교지에서 교수 사역 및 틈틈이 말씀 사역 및 방송(서창원의 신앙일침, 유튜브)으로 선한 싸움 싸우며 달려갈 길 힘써 달리고 있는 하나님의 한 작은 종이다.Chongshin University & Theological Seminary in Korea(BA, M.Div), London Theological Seminary(UK), Edinburgh Theological Seminary(Dip.
